Yesterday the girls and I took a stroll at the Wetlands Park. On this trip we went into the Visitor Center to see if anything was new. We were informed that the new addition to the park was not officially open, but a lot of people were already walking the trails. They also told us that on the other side of the park was a new playground for kids. So we set out on our walk hoping that the playground was not too far. While walking I took this photo of Mia laughing. I am not sure what she was laughing at but I like the photo.
After walking for a little Mia asked for me to put her on my shoulders. Even though she is getting to be heavy, we continued walking. Finally we found the playground and like most places in the park, there was no one around. The following photos were taken as Mia and Victoria played and occasionally stopped and posed for a photo.
As we headed back for the car, we encountered a few of the local residents of the park.
Victoria has a set of binoculars that also has a compass. She is slowly learning how to use it. Unfortunately for Victoria, everything that she has, Mia wants. Here Mia is using Victoria’s binoculars. At least she thinks she is using them.
And here Victoria is trying to show her how they work.
Until next time...
